How do I get a referral code?

In order to obtain a referral code, you need to sign up as a creator (only creator users are allowed to receive payments). You do not, however have to actually upload any videos to refer other creators.

How much do I get paid per referral?

Normally, you'll earn 10% of your referral's overall earnings (including their referral bonuses too!). However, during our private beta period we're doubling that to 20% of your referral's overall earnings! So don't wait, start referring your friends today!

And yes, that's 20% for as long as they continue to earn on theMixxx, not just until we're out of the beta period!

How do I get watcher-type user invites?

One of the perks of joining as a creator during our closed beta period and uploading your content is that you'll earn "watcher invites" that you can give away to your fans on other sites to reward them for supporting you (and to encourage people to subscribe/resubscribe to be eligible to win). You'll earn 5 invites for uploading your first video and 1 for every video after that.

What's the value of a watcher invite?

Since we don't have any ads or other restrictions during the closed beta period, getting invited to use the site for free before that is effectively the same as getting a full access membership to the site. Once we're out of the beta period we expect these memberships to sell for around $25/month. So uploading just a single video gets you roughly $125 of value out of your invite codes.
